Felix & Fido: Leah Monie

Hi, I’m Leah! I’ve been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) after graduating from Georgian College and earning my registration in 2020. While my primary focus is on cats and dogs, I’ve also gained hands-on experience with rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets in clinical settings. I hold a Level 2 Fear Free Certification and always prioritize creating a calm, safe, and comfortable experience for every pet I work with. I have a strong interest in nutrition and love seeing the positive impact the proper diet can have on a pet’s overall health and wellbeing. At home, I share my life with two goofy dogs, Ginger and Rex.
