Review guidelines
Reviews help the next family choose. Every review is read by a person at Love, Baxter before it is published. Here is what we publish and what we do not.
Who can write a review
Anyone who has used the professional's services for their own pet, or arranged them on behalf of a family member. We ask for your email so we can reach you if we have a question; it is never published.
What we publish
- First-hand experiences, positive or critical, written in your own words.
- Honest ratings. A low rating with a clear reason is as welcome as a high one.
- Your first name or the name you give; never your email.
What we do not publish
- Reviews from the professional, their staff or family, or a competitor.
- Reviews that were paid for or exchanged for a discount or gift.
- Personal attacks, profanity, threats, or anything that identifies a third party without consent.
- Claims about medical outcomes we cannot reasonably assess, or accusations of illegal conduct. Report those to us directly instead so we can act on them.
- Reviews about a different business, or about pricing disputes better resolved with the provider.
How moderation works
Reviews usually publish within two business days. We may hold a review to ask the reviewer or the professional a question. We do not edit the substance of a review; we may trim personal information. Professionals cannot remove a review by asking, but they can report one that breaks these guidelines and we will re-check it.
Concerns about a review or a listing: support@lovebaxter.com, or use the "Report it" link on the profile.
