Vendor Terms

Last updated September 5, 2026

These Vendor Terms apply to every business, organization, and professional with a listing in the Love, Baxter Directory at directory.lovebaxter.com. By creating, claiming, managing, or keeping a listing, you agree to these terms.

Our goal is simple: to maintain a directory that is useful, accurate, and trustworthy for pet families while being fair to the professionals who serve them.

1. About the Love, Baxter Directory

Love, Baxter operates a directory that helps pet parents find professionals, organizations, and services related to senior pet care, end-of-life care, pet loss, aftercare, memorialization, and related support.

Standard listings are free.

We review listings before publication and may review them again at any time.

A listing, verification mark, review, search position, or other appearance in the directory does not mean that Love, Baxter employs, supervises, endorses, recommends, or guarantees a provider or its services.

Love, Baxter is not a party to any agreement, treatment, service, payment, or other arrangement between a provider and a family.

2. Keep your listing accurate

The information on your listing must be truthful, current, and representative of your business or professional practice.

This includes your:

Only list services you actually provide and qualifications you actually hold.

You are responsible for updating your listing when important information changes.

Love, Baxter may correct, remove, or request clarification about information that appears inaccurate, outdated, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent.

3. Licenses, certifications, insurance, and credentials

You are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, professional rules, licensing requirements, permits, registrations, insurance requirements, and other obligations that apply to you and the services you provide.

Veterinary services must be provided in accordance with applicable laws and professional requirements. Veterinary acts, including euthanasia, may only be represented as available when they are lawfully provided by or under the appropriate supervision of a licensed veterinary professional.

Love, Baxter may ask for documentation or independently check licenses, certifications, professional designations, registrations, or other credentials.

When we have independently confirmed a particular license or credential, we may display a verification mark relating to that credential.

A verification mark means only that Love, Baxter confirmed the specified information using information reasonably available to us at the time of review. It is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee of competence, or guarantee that the credential remains current indefinitely.

Do not list a license, certification, professional designation, or other credential that you do not currently hold.

False, misleading, expired, or unverifiable credential claims may result in your listing being edited, hidden, suspended, or removed.

4. Provider types, services, and locations

Each listing has a primary provider type describing what the business, organization, or professional fundamentally is.

Your provider type may become part of your listing’s web address. To keep those addresses consistent, Love, Baxter handles provider-type changes upon request.

You may update the individual services you offer.

Businesses with multiple physical locations should generally maintain a separate listing for each location. Multiple listings may be managed through the same account when available.

Love, Baxter may combine, separate, recategorize, or otherwise adjust listings when necessary to keep the directory accurate and easy to use.

5. Treat families with care

Many people using Love, Baxter are caring for a seriously ill or aging pet, preparing for a pet’s death, or grieving a loss.

We expect providers to communicate with families honestly, respectfully, and compassionately.

Represent your qualifications, services, availability, and pricing accurately. Do not use misleading claims, pressure tactics, or deceptive practices.

If Love, Baxter provides you with a family’s contact information because that person contacted you through the directory, you may use that information to respond to the inquiry, communicate about the requested services, and provide those services.

You may not add that person to an unrelated marketing list, sell or share their information, or use their information for unrelated marketing without their separate permission.

You are responsible for handling personal information you receive in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional obligations.

6. Photos, descriptions, and other content

Only submit photos, logos, text, trademarks, videos, and other materials that you own or have permission to use.

You keep ownership of your content.

By providing content to Love, Baxter, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Love, Baxter Directory and your listing.

For example, we may feature your listing or its images in directory search results, emails, social media, educational collections, or announcements about providers available through the directory.

This license ends when the content is removed from our services, except where continued use is reasonably necessary for previously created materials, legal compliance, backups, or records.

We may make reasonable edits for clarity, accuracy, consistency, formatting, accessibility, or usability.

7. Reviews

Pet parents may review providers listed in the directory.

Love, Baxter moderates reviews under our Review Guidelines.

You may invite genuine clients to leave honest reviews, but you may not:

Love, Baxter may approve, reject, edit where appropriate for privacy or formatting, or remove reviews in accordance with our Review Guidelines.

Providers may contact us if they believe a review violates those guidelines.

We do not guarantee that every review is accurate, and publication of a review does not mean Love, Baxter agrees with or endorses it.

8. Reports and complaints

Families and other users may report concerns about a listing.

Love, Baxter may review reports, request additional information, contact the provider, or temporarily hide a listing while a serious concern is investigated.

We are not required to resolve disputes between providers and clients and may make directory-related decisions based on the information reasonably available to us.

We may also refer matters to appropriate authorities or professional organizations when we believe doing so is necessary or legally required.

9. Keeping the directory trustworthy

Love, Baxter may review, edit, decline, recategorize, temporarily hide, suspend, or remove a listing when we reasonably believe doing so protects families, providers, or the integrity of the directory.

Reasons may include inaccurate or misleading information, expired or unverifiable credentials, suspected fraud, misuse of family information, inappropriate conduct, credible complaints, inactivity, duplicate listings, violations of these terms, or other circumstances that make a listing inappropriate for the directory.

When practical, we may contact you about an issue and give you an opportunity to correct it. Serious concerns may require immediate action.

Love, Baxter retains final editorial control over what appears in the directory.

10. Search results and placement

Our goal is to help families find relevant and useful providers.

Search results may consider factors such as location, relevance, services, profile completeness, reviews, verification, responsiveness, and other quality, trust, or usability signals.

Search systems and ranking factors may change over time.

We do not guarantee any particular search position.

Payment does not purchase a higher position within free organic results.

If Love, Baxter offers sponsored listings, advertisements, featured placements, or other paid visibility, those placements will be identified as paid or sponsored where appropriate.

11. Your account

You may sign in using secure email links or other authentication methods offered by Love, Baxter.

You are responsible for protecting access to your email account and directory account and for the actions of people you authorize to manage your listings.

Please contact us promptly at support@lovebaxter.com if you believe your account or listing has been accessed or changed without permission.

12. Fees

Standard directory listings are currently free.

Love, Baxter may introduce optional paid plans, advertising, upgrades, enhanced features, or other paid services.

Any price, billing terms, renewal terms, and additional conditions will be disclosed before you purchase a paid service.

These Vendor Terms do not require you to purchase anything.

13. No guarantees

We want the directory to be valuable to families and providers, but we cannot guarantee any particular number of views, inquiries, bookings, clients, reviews, revenue, or other results.

We also cannot guarantee that the directory will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The directory and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Love, Baxter does not provide veterinary, medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional services through the directory merely by listing providers who do.

Providers are solely responsible for the professional services they provide.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Love, Baxter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from a listing, use of the directory, or interactions between providers and families.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your services, your listing content, your violation of these terms, your violation of another person’s rights, or your failure to comply with applicable law.

This does not make you responsible for claims caused solely by Love, Baxter’s own conduct.

15. Removing your listing

You may ask us to hide or remove your listing at any time by contacting support@lovebaxter.com.

Love, Baxter may hide, suspend, or remove listings as described in these terms.

After a listing is removed, its previous web address may redirect elsewhere within the Love, Baxter Directory.

We may retain information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, backups, or legitimate business records, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to the directory

Love, Baxter may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue directory features at any time.

This may include changes to categories, provider types, search functionality, profile features, verification programs, review systems, or paid services.

We will try to make changes in a way that keeps the directory useful for families and providers.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the directory grows, our services change, or legal requirements evolve.

When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify providers using the email address associated with their account or listing.

Continuing to maintain a listing after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
