Through **Nancy Kieffer Photography**, I step into that story with you—documenting the way your dog follows you from room to room, the way your horse greets you at the gate, and all the little ways a life is shared. My photography is about more than creating beautiful portraits. It is about noticing what makes your relationship yours and preserving it in a way you can return to for years to come.

Through my mixed media art, **The Midnight Reigns Collection**, I take the cell phone photographs you’ve captured of your pet and transform them through layers of texture, color, and artistic detail. The result is artwork rooted in a real moment and reimagined into something uniquely yours—a lasting tribute to a beloved companion still beside you or one you continue to carry with you.

And now, through **In the Company of Creatures**, I’m creating another way to explore the relationships we share with animals. Through guided creative practices, photography, reflection, nature, making, and community, we slow down enough to notice more—to remain curious about the creatures we already know so well, discover new ways of experiencing the life we share with them, and create meaningful ways to celebrate and remember it.

Because there are always new things to notice, new ways to experience a relationship we already cherish, and new ways to hold onto what matters.

Everything I create comes back to that shared life—the animals we love, the ways they become part of who we are, and the stories worth noticing while we are still living them.
