Untamed Love Stories

While my main niche is typically weddings and couples- when I worked at a pet resort a client came in and my boss told me how their dog had nose cancer and didn’t have much longer and asked me if I’d do a Christmas photo for them at the set up I made. I, of course did it. But it didn’t feel like enough. I timidly approached her and offered her a session with her dog. Since then, I’ve continued to take on sessions like this. While I do cry, knowing I can provide something that will freeze that moment in time? Priceless. The worst part is when your reach out to check on the sweet pup and they let you know they’re gone. I cry. I will always cry. Animals are so incredibly special. I take my time with all of the pups to make sure they’re comfy. I try to get on their level and understand what they need in order to feel comfortable around me.
