Katy In Design

I am an equine and pet photographer servicing Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade County, Florida. I fell head over boots with the ranch lifestyle as soon as I moved down here at 9 years old. I took any opportunity to be near animals, including working at farms, visiting zoos and aquariums, and watching my friends' pets. I started taking photos when I was 15, and Katy In Design was created in 2015.

I spent 8 years traveling the country with other photographers at some of the top-level hunter/jumper competitions. Some of my favorite venues were The Kentucky Horse Park, The Winter Equestrian Festival, and The Saratoga Horse Show.

In my many years of experience, I have photographed thousands of horses, from USEF horse of the year to partnerships that became the Longines FEI top-ranked. I've been the priority photographer for many shows, including Heritage Horse Show, South Florida Dressage Association (SFDA), and SFHJA. Photos I've taken both in and out of the arenas have been featured in several magazines, including The Plaid Horse and Horse Illustrated.

Some of the best memories I’ve captured have been people interacting with their horses, dogs, and cows. This isn’t just a job for me, it is a passion, and I look forward to capturing the special bond you have with your loved ones to share for many years.
