Love Beyond Life

There are people who love their pets, and then there are people, like us, who know that the word “pet” doesn’t even begin to describe the bond. They are our family, our soulmates, our safe places. I’m Robbin Gabriel, and I’ve been privileged to know that kind of love. I also know the heartbreak of losing a soul-animal and the profound healing that comes from working with someone who truly gets it.

Whether you’re preparing to say goodbye or grieving a beloved companion who’s already gone, you don’t have to pretend you’re okay here. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and centred around you. There is room for the fear, guilt, loneliness, and love, without judgment or pressure to move on. Together, we’ll honour your bond, help you carry what hurts, and find moments of peace while keeping your connection close.

What I offer brings personal understanding together with professional training. I’m a master’s-level Registered Social Worker with more than 20 years of counselling experience, a Certified Pet-Loss Grief Support Specialist, and a Certified Grief Educator. I offer online, in-office, and in-home sessions, as well as support during goodbye at your veterinarian’s office or an at-home euthanasia. However we meet, my hope is that you feel understood, cared for, and less alone in a kind of grief that too often goes unrecognized.
