Hello! Welcome. I'm Tora.
I am a friend of all creatures: big and small.
My very first memory is of horses.
My very first friends were furry and pawed.
My purpose in this life has always been to live alongside animals.
I have been fortunate to call many spectacular creatures – horses, dogs, cats, birds, even a lizard or two – my friends.
My family.
And I have walked, very intimately, the journey of death alongside my beloved animals.

My passion is helping clients explore all of those questions, and everything they bring up, in a safe and supportive environment.
The deaths of our animals rock us to our core - and they can reveal some incredible awareness and understanding as well. Their death and the grief it brings can be our greatest teacher. Lean in, turn towards death, and see what is there for you.
I'm here to walk this journey with you.
At any point in the process – an imminent death transition, after a sudden, unexpected loss, or in the time leading up to the death threshold – I am here to be an ally to your animal and yourself.

I reached out to Tora at Cosmic Heartline just as I was facing my gelding’s end of life. His name was Mr. Max. I run a retirement farm for hunters and jumpers, so I have some experience with facing end of life decisions for my client horses, but I really found myself at the end of my emotional rope when it came time to cross this painful threshold with my own horse. What impressed me most about Tora was how she seemed to have the right words for me to latch onto at the right time. I remember she told me to “keep an eye out for Max” … She said “I know you’ll catch his glimpse.” For some reason that line “keep an eye out for Max” stuck with me. Painful days followed his death until one day I looked up in the sky and there was a cloud that looked like Max’s face with a swirl of blue and white for his eye, and it was the closure I needed. I knew Max was watching over me as I carried on without him. It really felt like Tora had known this exact sign would come. She seems to dwell in such comfort in the issues of life and death, that I found comfort in her words as I faced heartbreak myself. If life and death must weave a tapestry, Tora helps you to see the beauty of the whole, and she gave me the thread to hang on to. I have since recommended Tora and Cosmic Heartline to my best friend who had also lost her horse.
