My sessions are a safe, heartfelt place to land, where your grief is held with deep care, the unconditional love and bond you share are celebrated, and your animal's beautiful and unique personality shines through.

Melanie helped me connect with my dog Bruno that died in a traumatic event when I was young. Going into the session I was a bit anxious about how it might make me feel, but Mel picked up on Bruno’s joyful personality and quirks with surprising accuracy which immediately put me at ease. Over the session I was able to ask some questions that I had been wondering about my entire life which really helped me to heal from the painful passing memory. I left the session feeling relieved and since then have been able to reconnect with the fun memories of my time with Bruno without any negative intrusive thoughts. On October 6th, 2025, at 12:45 p.m., my dearest companion, family member, and friend Potsticker, peacefully left this world after bravely fighting pancreatic cancer. As his condition worsened rapidly in the final stage, I had to make the hardest decision of my life — to let him go gently and free him from pain, in the home he loved so deeply.I come from a family of scientists, and I was raised without any religious beliefs. I’ve always been skeptical about the idea of souls or the afterlife. But after losing Potsticker, I began to notice things in our home during his final days that simply couldn’t be explained by science. Through Mel’s help, I was able to connect with Potsticker’s spirit — and it was one of the most profound and moving experiences of my life. I used to believe that pet communication was mostly generic comforting talk, more like emotional therapy than anything real. But what Mel shared with us was far beyond that. Every message she delivered from Potsticker felt deeply personal, authentic, and specific — things no one could possibly know unless they had lived in our home, beside us. Potsticker even mentioned a very sweet little white dog that was with him “on the other side.” I didn’t understand this at first, until my husband, in tears, told me that he once had a little white dog just like that years ago.
