About
Sometimes, you never want a moment to end.
The way they nuzzle under your chin. The sigh when they settle beside you. The excited butt wiggle as they make their way over to you when you come home. These aren't just fleeting moments. They’re the moments you'll miss the most.
At Marie Wulfram Photography, we know how special those moments are, and we specialize in soulful portrait experiences for pets and the people that love them most. With 9 years of experience working in the veterinary industry, we've helped countless pet parents during the hardest parts of their journey together, and now we continue that work through heartfelt sessions and timeless artwork for the heart and home.
These aren’t rushed appointments. They are calm, animal-led experiences shaped by your pet’s comfort and your emotional needs. Whether it takes place at home, in a favorite outdoor spot, or in our cozy studio, the focus is always on creating a space of peace, connection, and presence.
We believe in full-service care. From your first message to the moment we install your finished artwork, we’re here to guide you with compassion and care.
Here’s what you can expect:
A gentle, respectful pace. We allow time for your pet to feel safe and relaxed, and for you to simply be with them. No time limits, no expectations.
Heirloom-quality artwork. Every session includes options for albums, fine art prints, and custom wall pieces professionally designed and installed for you.
Support that meets you where you are. Whether you’re ready to see the photos right away or prefer to wait, we’ll follow your lead.
These sessions are about love, memory, and presence.
You don’t need to hold it all together. You just need to be there, with them. I’ll take care of the rest.
And when the time comes, you’ll have more than photographs. You’ll have something real to hold onto and a way to carry them forward.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How soon can we schedule?
End-of-life sessions get priority scheduling, and sometimes we can even accommodate same day needs.
- Can the session happen at home?
Yes. Home is often where pets feel most relaxed. Whether it’s their favorite bed, a cozy sunspot, or the backyard they love, we can create something beautiful right where they are.
- What if my pet isn’t mobile or is having a hard day?
That’s completely okay. We work gently and with flexibility. Some of the most heartfelt portraits come from quiet moments, like a head resting on your hand or a gaze exchanged in stillness. We'll meet them where they are.
- Can I be in the photos, too? What about other pets?
Absolutely. Your bond is the heart of this session. Many clients find comfort in being photographed with their pet, and those images often become some of the most cherished. If you have other pets, I'd love for them to be included, too.
- Do you photograph pets with medical equipment or visible illness?
Yes. Your pet’s comfort and dignity are my top priority. I approach all sessions with compassion, and I’m experienced in working with pets who may have mobility issues, hair loss, medical devices, or visible symptoms. These things do not take away from their beauty or your bond, and some things can be edited out (such as shaved spots from procedures, bandages, etc).
- Do I get digital files?
Yes. Every collection includes high-resolution digital images, along with custom artwork that’s designed to be seen, touched, and remembered. You’ll receive support in choosing the best ways to preserve your pet’s legacy.
