Heartkind Home Veterinary Care
About
Hearkind Home Veterinary Care was created to support pets and the people who love them through gentle, thoughtful support during some of the most meaningful and challenging seasons of life. I’m Dr. Chrissy Nawash, a veterinarian who focuses exclusively on senior pet care, hospice and palliative support, quality-of-life guidance, and peaceful in-home euthanasia.
I work with families whose pets are aging or living with chronic or life-limiting illness, helping them navigate care decisions with honesty, compassion, and clarity. In addition to hospice and end-of-life care, I offer in-depth senior care consultations—unhurried visits designed to understand the whole picture and provide personalized recommendations to help pets feel their best for as long as possible.
My approach is calm, compassionate, and deeply respectful of each family’s experience. I believe there is no single “right” path—only what feels most loving and appropriate for each pet and family. I strive to create space for questions, emotions, and thoughtful decision-making, without pressure or judgment.
After years in veterinary medicine, I felt called to focus my work on end-of-life care. I pursued certification in veterinary hospice and palliative care and have been providing compassionate in-home euthanasia for over four years. More recently, I’ve expanded my practice to support families earlier in their journey through in-depth senior pet consultations and advanced training in senior dog care. It is an honor to walk with families through moments that matter most.
Heartkind Home Veterinary Care is a mobile practice, providing care in your home where pets are most comfortable. You can reach out in whatever way feels right-–phone call, text, email or booking online. If you’re seeking guidance, comfort, or support, I’m here to help.
