Haley Engelman
About
Struggling to navigate life’s challenges as a child, teen, or family? I’m Haley, a Clinical Social Work supervisee in Virginia. I support children, teens, and families with a whole-child, whole-family approach, specializing in neurodivergent children and those with behavioral needs. Drawing on experience in clinical, community, and virtual settings, I tailor support to each child and family’s unique needs, creating a compassionate, understanding space to build skills, strengthen relationships, and foster growth.
In addition to my work with families and children, I am also a certified Veterinary Social Worker. I specialize in topics revolving around the human-animal bond, specifically grief and bereavement, and compassion fatigue, burnout, and trauma exposure for veterinary professionals.
Haley Engelman, Supervisee in Social Work, is under the clinical supervision of Courtney Weaver, LCSW, 2340 Commonwealth Dr. Ste 0101 Charlottesville, VA 22901, 703-348-6358, while obtaining supervised post-master’s degree experience per the laws and regulations governing the practice of Social Work.
