About
I specialize in working with individuals in their 20s and 30s who struggle to feel validated and heard in the challenges marked by this phase of life, including relationship struggles, grief and loss, major life transitions, anxiety, and depression. In my work with young adults and adults, I have found that these challenges often show up as feelings of sadness, detachment, burnout, loneliness, invalidation and confusion. This can make it even more difficult for one to decide to reach out and find support in therapy.
The most important part of our work together is to remind you that I will walk alongside you on your transformative journey toward growth, insight and healing. Together, we can explore your past and make sense of your future.
I have over 3 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy to young adults and adults and I love seeing their transformation through talk therapy. I mainly draw from the Psychodynamic / Psychoanalytic and Relational perspectives, and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based techniques to help individuals gain the necessary skills and resources to reach their desired outcomes in therapy.
I understand how unpacking emotions, thoughts and behaviors may seem overwhelming and choosing to confront these personal hardships is an act of courage. Taking this step toward healing is the first of many victories you will achieve on the path to improving your well-being. Together, we will navigate these challenges, fostering growth and resilience as you work toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
If you are interested in working together, please feel free to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss any questions you might have. I am delighted that you are here!
