Purrpose Supportive Counseling
About
I spent over 14 years in veterinary medicine, growing from receptionist to assistant hospital manager. Along the way, I witnessed the powerful bond between people and their pets and the emotional toll the profession can take. Inspired to support both, I earned my MSW and became a Licensed Master Social Worker.
I began my clinical work with children and teens with autism, developing strong skills in advocacy, emotional regulation, and compassionate support. Still, I felt called back to veterinary medicine. I realized the common thread: both children and animals need someone to help be their voice. That’s when I found my true “Purrpose” as a veterinary social worker.
Today, I work alongside veterinary professionals, helping teams and pet owners navigate burnout, compassion fatigue, grief, and the profound emotions of the human–animal bond with resilience and care.
