For more than two decades, our founder, Sharon, has shared her life with nine Japanese Chin — each one a lesson in loyalty, resilience, and love. Through years of veterinary visits, from specialists to emergency rooms, she witnessed a heartbreaking truth: many devoted owners couldn’t afford the care their pets needed.

For the Love of Chin was born from that personal experience and deep compassion — and from a promise that no family should have to walk away from the clinic without a compassionate solution simply because of cost. Our organization exists to give every dog access to compassionate and specialty veterinary care. We combine education, financial assistance, and community partnerships to make that vision possible — A future where all dogs have access to compassionate, integrative care.
