Twilight Range Veterinary Care

Hello, and welcome! I’m Dr. Deborah Aronson, founder and head veterinarian of the only independent, locally-owned veterinary practice in Park City focused on end of life care for companion animals. Twilight Range Veterinary Care provides in-home pet euthanasia and palliative care in Park City, Utah. This support allows families to say goodbye in the comfort of home. Additionally, I offer quality of life consultations when you're just not sure, both in-home and via telehealth.

Prior to opening Twilight Range Vet, I built Main Line Veterinary Integrative Practice in Pennsylvania, providing palliative and end-of-life care for dogs and cats. I was inspired to do so after euthanizing my own cat at home, realizing that the final stage of life can be as meaningful as any other - a time for tenderness, gratitude, and connection.

My approach is also shaped by my training as an interfaith chaplain through Main Line Health in Philadelphia, where I supported patients and families through difficult transitions. I bring that same spirit of presence and compassion to every family I serve.

Alongside my clinical work, I teach communication and humane euthanasia techniques to second-year veterinary students at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. I’m also a Veterinary Facilitator for the University of Vermont Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Program, a proud member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC), and on the Organizational Committee looking to create a new specialty in veterinary medicine in hospice and palliative care.

The name Twilight Range holds special meaning. It honors the beauty and expansiveness of life’s twilight - that tender range between light and shadow - where love and presence remain constant.
