Dr. Heather Teter, LSW, CSSW is a seasoned social work professional with more than 34 years of experience across public mental health, direct clinical services, program leadership, and education. Her career has included program development, teaching, and school social work within a private residential setting, where she supported individuals and families through complex challenges while championing engagement, resilience, and equitable access to care. Heather is especially passionate about serving marginalized populations and guiding organizations through periods of crisis, transition, and growth.

As the owner of The Pet Care Club of Central PA, Heather integrates her deep understanding of human relationships, grief, and emotional wellbeing with her lifelong love of animals. The Pet Care Club of Central PA offers a range of pet care services spanning the life of our beloved pets.  Through the Heart to Paw program, she offers compassionate, relationship-centered support that honors the powerful bond between people and their pets, serving families throughout Central Pennsylvania with empathy, professionalism, and trust.
