About
About Dr. Kristen Maul:
I grew up knowing 2 things. 1- I wanted to be a vet. 2- I wanted to be a Buckeye.
I proudly graduated with both my bachelor’s in Animal Sciences and my veterinary degree from The Ohio State University. I started in the veterinary field in 2006 as an assistant. I have been in practice as a veterinarian since 2013, enjoying both clinical and leadership positions throughout my career.
I felt a calling to be a veterinarian from a very young age. Even more so, I felt a calling to help comfort and support others. It has always been important to me that my patients don’t feel any unnecessary pain or fear. It is equally important to me that you, the family, are supported and comfortable. In-home euthanasia can provide a very calm and peaceful experience for families and pets in a more private, dignified, and intimate setting.
I am Fear Free Elite certified. This extra training equals 35 additional hours learning how to provide a better emotional experience for your pet. The Elite status also requires a commitment to continue learning every year to stay current on the latest updates. I have also achieved my CAETA mastery certificate, which has provided me with additional training to providing a more comfortable passing. These additional certifications, in addition to my nearly 20 years of experience in the field, allow me to give your pet the peaceful, comfortable passing that they deserve – and give you the peace of mind you deserve.
I have had the privilege of serving many families as they say goodbye to their pets. To end the pets’ suffering and provide comfort to their families has been an honor. I am truly grateful to each family that has chosen me to join them on their pet’s final journey.
