About
A Peaceful Goodbye, Surrounded by Love
Hello, I’m Dr. Kallie Sesti — a veterinarian and the founder of Tender Transitions, a mobile end-of-life care service for dogs and cats in Jackson, MS and the surrounding areas.
I created Tender Transitions with one simple, heartfelt goal: to help pets pass peacefully at home, in the arms of the people who love them most.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but I know firsthand that it can be peaceful, dignified, and still filled with love.
As a one-doctor practice, I personally walk with each family through this process — offering gentle guidance, clear communication, and steady presence from the first phone call to the final farewell.
I provide:
In-home pet euthanasia in a familiar, comforting setting
Cremation coordination (private or communal), with respectful transport and urn options available
Support for home burial, including a burial bag if desired
Personalized keepsakes such as paw prints and fur clippings
Grief resources, including tools for children and families
After-hours appointments (5–8 PM) based on availability
While I am available 7 days a week, I am not an emergency service. I encourage families to reach out in advance whenever possible so we can plan this moment with the time, presence, and care it deserves.
If you're beginning to consider your pet’s comfort, or simply want to understand your options, I’m here. You're not alone — and your pet never has to be either.
