I purchased my first camera when I was 13. I started taking photos, and I had taken one of a waterfall in Connecticut. I had the photo enlarged in the camera department at a large New York City department store. When I went to pick it up, there was a note on it that indicated the manager wanted to speak with me. I could not imagine what I did wrong. He said that the photo I enlarged was terrific, and the store wanted to buy it. I was dumbfounded. I thanked him, but told him it was not for sale. It was an anniversary present for my parents. I did not take away any money, but I had the idea that maybe I was on to something.

Years later, I have a successful online photo practice specializing in seascapes and landscapes. My career was as a Project Manager for large multi-institutional cancer research teams. While doing that, I also used my photographic skills to provide photos of events and meetings for our website and the institute. I did special photo portraits and events for cancer researchers at various institutes and at Harvard Medical School.

I have also been a photographer for the Tilly Project for a few years now, providing this service. Areas I travel to are Boston, north of Boston, New Hampshire, and southern Maine.
