The why I do what I do:
Elwood...He was my first true love. He and his liter mates came into my life when I was a vet tech and he was only days old.
I was a foster fail before I even knew what that was. Elwood was with me from the age of 19 - 31 years old. He was my son’s first best friend and my forever.
When we had to say good-bye, I realized, I’d always been BEHIND the camera, never in front of it with him.
All that exists of Elwood and I together is a single grainy snapshot.
I don’t want you to end up in the same heartbreak.
