Dr. Stacey is a Licensed Psychotherapist (Marriage and Family Therapist) Motivational Trainer, and Consultant who,  as a Clinician, is Solution-Focused, Brief Cognitive, and Faith-Based. She can help an individual or a family manage their grief, about their Pet's illness, and loss, as she has personally experienced pet loss herself. She has had many years of experience working with Pet Loss, Grief and Bereavement including the problems pet owners have faced due to the toxic pet food problem, beginning in 2008. Her focus in working with individuals and families who have experienced pet loss, and or illness, is to help improve their communication, relationships, overcome procrastination, and to better understand their pet's aging, health, and death of their beloved pet. Dr Nelson can help you learn how to manage your anxiety, sorrow, denial, self blame, grief, and bereavement. Allowing the mourning process of your pet to naturally take place is super important. Not everyone's mourning and healing takes place at the same pace. Understanding how to heal and move towards recovery from the loss of your pet is different for each individual. Dr Stacey can help you prioritize, set goals and integrates the use of prayer, meditation, music, art, and poetry in the Therapeutic Process, leading to Healing and Recovery from your loss!

Dr Nelson has counseled many individuals who had dogs and cats who suffered from the toxic pet food recall. Many of her client's owned pets that also had allergies and food sensitivities. She herself was challenged with grief and loss when she discovered her former Labrador Retriever, Miss Tweedle, had a Congenital Heart defect known as Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia (TVD) She discovered her Labrador also had numerous food and environmental allergies, causing ear infections and skin conditions. This fact inspired her to carefully read labels and help her clients/patients, and their their pets. In 2008, her interests led her to the formation of Tweedle Pet Products LLC, Natural and Organic Pet treats, and Custom Blended Organic essential oils to repel Fleas, Ticks, and Mosquitoes - Safe for Pets and Humans, containing NO DEET or other chemicals. Proud to say 15 of Tweedle Pet Products were sold in Whole Food Markets for 7 years before she developed an online store for Pets sensitive to common food allergies. Dr Stacey also participates in Art and Craft Festivals, and enjoys meeting Pets and their Parents.
