Beehive Counseling & Wellness

I'm a full-time therapist and Veterinary Social Worker at Beehive Counseling & Wellness, a radically inclusive and progressive mental health group practice based in Manchester, CT. My work with veterinary professionals and pet families experiencing pet loss and bereavement is truly a labor of love, as I am a former Veterinary Assistant/Technician and Client Services Representative who has been engaged in pet grief support since 2005. 

My past role as a Veterinary Social Worker was the staff VSW at a large specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in CT, and I was fortunate there to provide short-term, individual and family pet loss counseling and euthanasia support to the hospital's clients and staff. It's an honor to support folks who are experiencing this incredibly painful loss.

I do this work in memory of my "heart cat" Rowland, and my dear colleague and friend, Vicky Ferguson, who was a bright light in veterinary medicine.
