Pure Waters Pet Cremation was born from a simple belief: pets deserve the same compassion in death that they received in life, and families deserve an environmentally responsible choice.

I started Pure Waters Pet Cremation because I believe our responsibility to our pets doesn’t end when they die. They have given us years of companionship, comfort, and unconditional love, and I wanted to create a business that honors that relationship all the way through the end-of-life journey, while also respecting the world they shared with us. 

I saw an opportunity to make the experience of pet aftercare feel more personal and meaningful. Pet loss is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through, yet the final step of caring for a pet's body is often treated as a transaction. I wanted to create something different; an independently owned, local business where families could have transparency, ask questions, and know that their pet was being handled with genuine care.

We provide pet water cremation (Aquamation), also known as alkaline hydrolysis, a flameless alternative to traditional flame cremation that uses water rather than fire. The environmental aspect is important to me, but the heart of the business is not really about the technology. It's about honoring the relationship people have with their animals and extending that care through the very end.

I am especially motivated by the idea that something so difficult can still be handled beautifully. Whether that means helping a veterinary team navigate the logistics after a euthanasia, giving a family time and space to make decisions, or carefully returning a pet's remains to their home, every interaction is an opportunity to make an incredibly painful day a little gentler.
