All Grief Matters

I deeply care about pet parent’s receiving the support they need before, during, and after you lose your pet. I specialize in pet loss grief counseling and offer an integrative approach to one’s healing.  I did my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, Masters in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care, and certificate in coaching to provide an integrative approach to being with you in your grief and to provide integrative tools to help support you. I believe all parts of us are affected by grief: relationally, emotionally, psychologically, physically, and spiritually. 

 Since 2013, I’ve worked with individuals who lost human loved ones. After my soul dog Eben got diagnosed with cancer, I had no idea we’d embark on an almost 5 year journey of fighting cancer. Through my lived experienced, along with my professional training, and years of helping individuals grieve their human loved ones I realized I could help pet parents through the profound loss of saying goodbye to their pets. Since losing Eben, it has become my passion to specialize in grief work with individuals with their pets.  I have lived through anticipatory grief, becoming a care taker for Eben’s cancer journey, and eventually having to say goodbye. I know how difficult this is. 

 In my sessions, I work with pet grief throughout the whole journey: before, during, and after you loose your beloved. I understand and offer support while having to make ongoing difficult decisions,  researching and advocating, facing scan anxiety, medical trauma, anticipatory grief, and loss (that I never thought I could crawl my way out of.) There is always hope, let’s do this together.
