Hi, I’m Anitalyn (like Anita and Lyn put together into one word).

I was the proud Dog Mama of Skyler, a beautiful black German Shepherd, who I was so lucky to have for nine and a half years. He went everywhere with me, he was my best friend, my everything, and the most important creature in the world. Even when I met my now husband, he understood that Skyler was the most important being in my life, even more than him.

Skyler passed in 2021, and my grief was overwhelming. I still miss him today.

I have spent much of my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the home health and hospice fields. Death and dying were part of my everyday life. I counseled others on human loss, and then suddenly, I was the one experiencing the grief.

I have been where you are, and I know the pain you are experiencing. I will not tell you it will go away, but some things can help you through the process. I want to be there to help you and to celebrate the life of your beloved Skyler.
