About

Pacific Well Being exists for one reason. People deserve to be heard, especially when life feels heavy.

We are a counselling practice based in Coquitlam, BC, founded and operated by Jennifer Timer, PsyD(C), MSN, RTC. Jennifer is also an End-of-Life Doula and supports individuals and families who want guidance, comfort, and a steady presence during some of life’s hardest seasons. Not the least of these concerns is pet loss. People often do not understand that the loss of a pet can be just as devastating as the loss of a human.

With more than 20 years of experience in the caring professions, Jennifer brings a rare blend of psychology and nursing. She has worked in critical care, including ICU and pediatric critical care, and that background matters. It means you get someone who can sit with big emotions and real-life medical stress simultaneously. If you are overwhelmed by symptoms, diagnoses, medical language, or the fear that comes with health uncertainty, you do not have to carry it alone.

Pacific Well Being supports people navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, bereavement, eating disorders, and health-related concerns. Jennifer also has a strong focus on helping First Responders and healthcare professionals. If you have been holding it together for everyone else, this can be a place where you do not have to.

Whether you are feeling stuck, exhausted, anxious, grieving, or simply needing a safe place to talk, you are welcome here. We will take things at your pace, with care, respect, and honest support.
